Late last year, Kimberly Jackson Davidson became the Director of the Yeworkwha Belachew Center for Dialogue and Ombudsperson for Oberlin. She had previously served as the position on an interim basis when the founding Ombuds, Yeworkwha Belachew, retired due to health issues. Previously, Davidson was an Associate Dean of Students.
Davidson has held a variety of roles at the College, including serving as a student judicial coordinator, the liaison for the student Honor System, and the Section 504/ADA compliance coordinator. She has volunteered as a mediator with the Oberlin College Dialogue Center since 2001. (Oberlin Staff Profile; Oberlin OnCampus.)
