Emily Azevedo has joined the Athlete Ombudsman Office of the National Olympic Committee in Colorado Springs. Reporting to the USOC Athlete Ombudsman, Kacie Wallace, Azevedo provides independent advice to athletes and assists in mediating disputes.
Azevedo competed as an Olympic bobsledder from 2006 to 2014 and then for two years as a member of the U.S. Rugby National Team member. She graduated from UC Davis and earned a JD at University of Pacifc McGeorge School of Law. (USOC Athlete Ombuds; LinkedIn.)
