University of Amsterdam Appoints Interim Ombuds

Jacqueline Schoone has been named the Interim Ombuds for Universiteit van Amsterdam. According to an announcement from the university, "She will do the preparative work needed so that a permanent ombudsperson can be appointed by 1 September 2020 at the latest."
Schoone has held a variety of management positions, including 15 years with BMC doing consulting in the public sector. She graduated from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and earned a Master's in Public Administration from Lieden University. (UvA PPLE Student News; LinkedIn.)
