Job Posting: Canadian Nuclear Laboratories

Canada's nuclear science and technology research lab (Laboratoires Nucléaires Canadiens) is hiring its first Ombudsman. The position will serve, "as an independent, confidential, neutral, and informal resource to help the CNL workforce identify, address, and resolve individual, group, and systemic concerns, without fear of reprisal." The position will be based at Chalk River Laboratories in Ontario, a former reactor facility that is being repurposed into a science facility over the next decade.

Applicants must have a college degree, ethics training, and familiarity with CNL policies and cultire. A relevant degree and formal training in dispute/conflict resolution methodologies are preferred. No application deadline or salary indicated.
