The international financial institution is hiring two Organizational Ombudsmen for five-year appointments. Locations for the two positions have yet to be determined, but one will be in Africa and the other in Asia. The search will expand WBG Ombuds Services office, which currently has three Ombuds: David Wilburn Talbot; Doris Cecilia Campos-Infantino; and Axel R. Peuker.
Applicants must have an advanced degree (conflict resolution, law, organization behavior, psychology, counseling, or other social sciences preferred); at least 12 years of relevant experience required, including at least five years in a multinational organization and/or a multi-cultural environment; and fluency English (fluency in French is required for the Africa-based position). Fluency in other working languages of the WBG and managerial experience are highly desired. The positions are local, open to nationals of other countries.
