The International Ombuds Association is asking its members to submit names for its annual Distinguished Emeritus Award. The IOA Nominating Committee recognizes a small number of retired Ombuds for their outstanding and dedicated service to the association and to the Ombuds profession more broadly.
This award is presented annually to a small number of IOA retired members. The award includes a lifetime free membership to IOA. Presented at the Annual Conference, recipients receive a lifetime free membership to IOA. The recipients last year were: Jenna Brown (University of Denver); Isabel Calderon (Mars, Inc.); Glenda Dickson (Clemson University); and Willem Kweens (Mars, Inc.).
