The private research university in Massachusetts is hiring an Ombuds I. The full-time position will join an office headed by Ombuds and Director, Melissa Brodrick. The position works with stakeholders at Harvard Medical School in Boston, one of the Ombuds Office's two locations. Two days in the office per week is currently required with some flexibility possible.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and at least five years experience in Ombudsing, conflict resolution, mediation, and/or negotiation or related field. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree in a related field, previous Ombuds experience and prior experience in an academic/higher education environment, basic mediation training, IOA Foundations, and experience designing and conducting training.
