Ombudsman Wins Prince of Wales's Stakes

On June 18, 2025, Jockey William Buick urged Godolphin’s, Ombudsman, to win the £1 million Prince of Wales’s Stakes on the turf at Royal Ascot in England. The 7-1 colt, a "devastating winner," earned an automatic berth into the Longines Breeders' Cup at Del Mar in California in November 2025. (YouTube.)

What a great run! And what a great name for a horse! Second only to my all time favorite "Hoof Hearted" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kqj2hkbDnyM) Yes, it is juvenile I know, but these days it important to enjoy the simpler pleasures in life.

Organizational Ombuds

Organizational Ombuds serve as a confidential, independent, neutral and informal dispute resolution resource for a specific entity. They are accessible to a defined population and can advocate for fairness. These unique characteristics distinguish Organizational Ombuds from Classical Ombuds, mediators, arbitrators, and other alternative dispute resolution professionals. The term "Ombuds" is shorthand for "Ombudsman," "Ombudsperson" and "Ombuds Officer," which also are used widely.
