Job Posting: Frederick County Public Schools

The public K–12 system in Maryland with more than 47,000 students, is seeking its next Ombudsman. The Office of the Ombuds was established in 2019 by Sabrina Nail and provides confidential, independent, and informal assistance to students, families, employees, and community members. The position is expected to be filled by July 1, 2026.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of relevant professional experience. A Master’s degree and CO-OP designation are preferred. The full-time position offers a salary range of $64,282–$116,953 on the district’s administrative scale. Applications are due by April 21, 2026. (FCPS Posting.)
