Leadership role! Ten Years experience including two years supervisory experience! Experience in policy and budget! All for the low price of $86,000. Such a deal.
ReplyDeleteThe snide comments about salaries may be intended to promote the value of the ombuds role, but they come across as elitist, which is not a good look for the profession. This is a community college in a low cost of living place, where such a salary is quite respectable, especially considering it only requires four years of experience with a masters, not ten. The other qualifications you mention are preferred, not required. We can’t all work at Harvard, nor do we want to.
