Canada's Auditor General Selects Next Ombuds

Alexandre St-Jean has been appointed the next Ombuds for Bureau du vérificateur général du Canada. He follows the inaugural Ombuds, Janet Campbell, who retired after six years in the role, and provides services to the department's 800 employees.

St-Jean comes to the position after five years as an Ombuds with the Office of the Ombuds for Shared Services Canada. Prior to that, he was Ombudsman for Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat and Director of Informal Conflict Management for Department of Justice Canada. St-Jean has been a speaker at IOA and FCO-UCOA conferences. (LinkedIn.)
