Last summer, Nevada's largest post-secondary institution appointed its first two Ombuds: professors N. Mark Rauls and Jennifer Basquiat. The website for their new office recently went online. Rauls is a Professor of Philosophy & Womens Studies and works out of CSN's Cheyenne Campus.
He earned his JD from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, MA in Philosophy from University of Texas at Austin, and his BA from Southern Methodist University.

Basquiat is a Professor of Communication & Anthropology and works out of the West Charleston Campus. An ethnographer, Basquiat earned her MA and PhD from Claremont Graduate School in Cultural Studies and BA and MA from California State University, Los Angeles in Communication Studies.
