In July, the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine named Christine Shafer to serve as Student Ombudsperson. Shafer has been an Associate Professor of Psychiatry, but will give up her teaching responsibilities.Shafer has been the CHM Psychiatry Clerkship Director and the Assistant Dean for CHM Admissions, in addition to many other committees.
