Kirsi Aulin has been named as the next Director of the Ombuds Office at CU-Boulder. For the past three and a half years, Aulin has been the Campus Ombuds for the University of California in Santa Barbara and was an Associate Ombuds for five years before that. Aulin starts in January 2016 and will need to hire an Associate Ombuds and support staff member.
Aulin became a Certified Organizational Ombuds Practitioner in 2011. Before becoming an Ombuds, she worked in the mental health field since 1996. She graduated from Bryn Mawr College and earned an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from California State University at Northridge. She succeeds Tom Sebok, who retired this month after 25 years at CU-Boulder.
At the 2014 IOA conference, Aulin co-presented a session with Sebok.

Great hire for University of Colorado at Boulder. Sad loss for those of us in the University of California system. Congratulations Kirsi!
