Virginia Tech Fills Ombuds Position with Prominent Mediator

Bryan Hanson has been named the Graduate School Ombudsperson for Virginia Tech. Hanson is president of the Association for Conflict Resolution Board of Directors and has also served as the first president of the Board of Directors for the Nebraska Mediation Association.  In addition, Hanson was the Assistant Director of the Werner Institute for Negotiation & Conflict Resolution at Creighton University where he was instumental in launching ADRhub.


Hanson graduated from Minnesota State University, and earned a master’s in organizational psychology and a graduate certificate in organizational conflict management from John F. Kennedy University, and a doctorate in interdisciplinary leadership from Creighton University. He has conducted workshops and presented at many conferences and will be a speaker at the 2017 IOA conference.  (VT News.)
