The American Bar Association has posted a toolkit for the 2011 Mediation Week, which takes place October 16-22. The materials are designed for practitioners, organizations and bar associations and include sample talking points, presentations, videos and handouts. Ombuds, especially those who coordinate mediation programs, will find the toolkit relevant to their work. The week corresponds with ACR's annual Conflict Resolution Day, which is on October 20 this year. (ABA Mediation Week; ACR Conflict Resolution Day.
The toolkit sounds like an excellent source of information in this fast growing industry. As a mediation researcher for various companies, I will definitely be attending the Mediation Week.
