UC Merced Chancellor Dorothy Leland has signed a Charter Agreement for the Office of Ombuds Services that opened this summer. The charter references and closely tracks the IOA Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. It outlines the history and purpose of the office and enumerates the authority and limitations of the Ombuds.
The charter was also signed UC Merced's first Campus Ombudsperson, De Acker. (UC Merced Ombuds Charter.)
