The community college in Greater Victoria, British Columbia is hiring its next Student Ombudsperson. The search will fill a position held since 2008 by Carter McDonald, who is retiring. The full-time position single-handedly provides services to a student body of about 20,000 and reports to the VP of Student Experience.
Applicants must have a relevant bachelor degree and three to five years of relevant work experience, preferably in a British Columbia post-secondary environment, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. The position pays $62,342 to $83,122 per year. No closing date, but the job is expected to start on February 1, 2020. (Camosun Posting.)
