University of Aveiro Selects Next Student Ombuds

Universidade de Aveiro, the public university in the Centro Region of Portugal, appointed Pedro Lages as its next Student Ombudsperson. Lages follows Marília Martins, who served in the role since 2020, and will provide services to 17,000 students. 

Lages has been an IP consultant for the past six years, most recently with ClarkeModet in Losbon. He graduated from UAveiro and held several leadership positions with student organizations. He earned a MS at the Lisbon School of Economics and Management, and is completing a degree in Law at the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa. (UA Notícias; LinkedIn.)
