Cal Poly Humboldt Adds an Ombuds

John M. Meyer will join Suzanne Pasztor in the Ombuds Office at the California State Polytechnic University Arcata. Meyer takes over from Scott Paynton, who is ending his current term this summer. As University Ombudspersons, Meyer and Pasztor serve nearly 10,000 faculty, staff, and students following IOA standards.

Both Ombuds continue as faculty members in addition to their Ombuds roles. Meyer is a professor in the Department of Politics and Pasztor is a professor in the Department of History. (myHumboldt.)

    Has CSU system policy changed to allow for ombuds' confidentiality to IOA standards?

      I believe Title IX issues remain an exception to IOA standards for CSU Ombuds.
