Derrick Okonji has been hired as an Ombuds Manager in Chevron’s Global Office of Ombuds. Reporting to Sana Manjeshwar, Chevron's Global Principal Ombuds Manager, Okonji will serve employees in Europe, the Middle East, Eurasia, and Africa from his office in London.
Prior to joining Chevron, Okonji was an Employee Relations Manager in HR, including ADR, policy writing and reviews, and advising in corporate functions, mortgages services, real estate, equities, investment banking, construction, social services and the national public health sectors. He have also lived and worked in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. He graduated from Babcock University and earned a Master’s degree at the University of Birmingham Business School. He is also a certified mediator and ADR subject matter expert.
