Texas A&M University Announces Ombuds for Undergraduate Students

Lori Moore has been named the next Ombuds Official for Undergraduate Studies. She follows Valerie Balester, who held the position for the past five years. Moore is an Associate Professor in the Texas A&M University Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communications. She will split her time between her faculty appointment and the Ombuds Office. As the Ombuds, Moore will support all undergraduates at TAMU. The university also has several other collateral duty Ombuds, who are delegated to particular programs or groups.

Moore has worked at TAMU since 2013 and has also been on the faculty at the University of idaho. She earned her BS and MS at Texas A&M and her PhD at the University of Florida. (TAMU Undergrad Ombuds; LinkedIn.)
