University of Houston Names Next Staff/Faculty Ombuds

Arturo E. Hernandez has been appointed the next Ombudsperson for faculty and staff at the public research university in Texas. He follows Richard Bond, who served in the role since 2006 and supplements the work of& Funda Sahin, the Ombuds for graduate and professional students at the public research university in Texas.

Hernandez is also a Professor of Psychology. He graduated from the University of California Berkeley and completed his PhD at the University of California San Diego. He was a Fulbright Scholar in 2019. (UH Ombuds.)
