SUNY Oneonta Debuts Ombuds Program

The State University of New York at Oneonta has unveiled an Office of the Ombudsman to serve faculty, staff, and students. Michael Kush, the Associate Vice President of Student Affairs and Dean of Students has been named the inaugural Ombuds. The new program explicitly practices to IOA standards. 

Kush has worked in student affairs at SUNY Oneonta since October 2023. His career has included work as a property manager and in student affairs at the Culinary Institute of American, Concordia College New York, and Nyack College. He graduated from SUNY Oneonta and earned an MS in Organizational Leadership at Mercy University. (SUNY Oneonta Ombuds; LinkedIn.)
