Meet the Ombuds for Palm Beach State College

In 2024, the public college in Lake Worth, Florida, appointed Marileidy (Mary) Guzman as its Student Ombudsman. Following IOA standards, she provides services to nearly 25,000 students. She followes Kathleen Karran-McCoy in the part-time position.

Guzman brings two decades of experience at PBSC. She has worked at the college as an administrative employee since 2007. In addition, she earned both her AA and BA from Palm Beach State College. (PBSC Ombuds; LinkedIn.)
