The public research university in Iowa City is hiring an Assistant Ombuds. The part-time position will serve faculty, staff and students, including all of UI Healthcare. The Assistant Ombuds will report to University Ombudsperson, Chanelle Reese, Assistant Ombuds, Corey P. Pass, and Faculty Ombuds, Meenakshi Gigi Durham.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of conflict management experience. Preferred qualifications include: a Master’s degree; Ombuds, mediation, facilitation, or conflict coaching training; and Ombuds office experience. The posting will be open for seven days and the compensation range (full-time equivalent) for the position appears to be $42,392 to $81,125 per year. (UIowa Posting.)
