The University of North Dakota has selected Henok Elias to serve as its first full-time Ombuds. Most recently, Elias worked as an Ombudsman and Mediator for the Los Angeles County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs and as a Mediator for the Center for Conflict Resolution in the Small Claims courts of Los Angeles Superior Court.
Elias gradauted from Pepperdine University and went on to earn a Master in Dispute Resolution in August 2015.
He will report directly to Provost DiLorenzo, and his office will open mid-January 2016. (UND News; LinkedIn.)
