The GSU Office of the Ombudsperson has re-posted its opening for a full-time Assistant Ombudsperson. (The prior search closed May 13, 2016.) The primary responsibility of the postion is providing conflict management services for over 32,0000 students on four campuses. In addition, the Assistant Ombuds will manage Graduate Research Assistants, student assistants, and interns; assists with tasks related to the Annual Conflict Resolution Symposium; and performs other administrative duties.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and five years related experience (or combination of education and experience). Certification as mediator and a master's degree in conflict resolution or a social science are preferred. The position pays $48,000 to $54,000.
