Job Posting: UConn Health

The health system of the University of Connecticut, based in Farmington, is hiring its first Ombudsman. The position will coordinate with the UConn Ombuds, Jim Wohl, to provide services to faculty, students, trainees, and staff affiliated with a teaching hospital, the UConn School of Medicine, School of Dental Medicine, and Graduate School. The full-time position will practice to IOA standards.

Applicants must have have a masters or other advanced degree, and at least one year of Organizational Ombuds experience at an academic medical institution. Preferred qualifications include JD, PhD, or other advanced degree; significant experience as an Organizational Ombuds at medical training facility or in a large, public higher education setting; and CO-OP designation.
