The
Office of the UN Ombudsman and Mediation Services is accepting applications for an unpaid internship in its New York headquarters. The temporary position is full-time and will last at least three to six months. There are now two open searches for interns at UNOMS in New York, the nation's second most expensive city. Duties will depend on the intern's experience and needs of the program, but may include: outreach and advocacy; support preparing data and reports; and conducting research.
Applicants
must be an enrolled student (or within a year after graduation) and be computer literate
in standard software applications. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French or another official UN language is desirable. The posting period for the internship ends March 30, 2019. (UN Jobs.)
...Oh, and be prepared to wait 6-12 months to hear anything from the UN also.
