The public research university in Kent, Ohio has re-opened its search for a Faculty Ombuds for the second time. The position was originally posted in February 2023 and then reposted in July. This is a new position for the campus, which already has a Student Ombuds: Amy Quillin. The full-time Faculty Ombuds will report to an associate provost and serve over 2,700 faculty members.
The job description has not changed significantly since it first appeared. Applicants must have a relevant terminal degree or a Master's or professional degree with five years of professional experience. Applications are now due October 7, 2023. No salary indicated. (Kent State Jobs.)
