Anthony Keen-Louie has been hired as the first Associate Ombuds at UCSC. He joins Campus Ombuds, Deidre "De" Acker, and and will assist in developing a program to serve the entire campus. Keen-Louie is an experienced student affairs professional and mediator and has worked on other UC campuses.
Keen-Louie comes to UCSC after eight years at UC San Diego, where he worked in residential life leadership roles. He is currently also an adjunct instructor at USC's School of Law. He has also worked at San Diego State University, Columbia University, UC Santa Barbara, Fordham University, and UC Riverside. He graduated from UC Riverside, and earned his MA at New York University and MDR at the University of Southern California. (UCSC News; LinkedIn.)
