The international NGO is hiring a Project Ombudsperson to lead a new program to address complaints from parties that allege that they are or might be adversely affected by IADB operations. The position is a full-time bank employee, reporting directly to the Board of Executive Directors.
The Ombuds will create and manage a project to identify and gather information from other stakeholders, and develop a range of responsible options to help determine whether a resolution to the issues raised can be reached and what is the best process for doing so. Applicants should have and advanced degree; conflict resolution/mediation experience; willingness to travel; and fluency in Spanish and English. Application deadline: June 1. No salary indicated.
