Updated 8/14/25: This post incorrectly identified Canul as the first ASECS Ombuds. In fact, H. Nyree Gray became the inaugural Ombuds in October 2020.

Dear Dr Blessing & ASECS Colleagues ~ The information, above, is incorrect, please amend it asap. The “first" ASECS ombuds is not Kathleen Canul, but rather Attorney Nyree Gray, respected & published authority in Civil / Human Rights disputes & negotiations. Her intelligent & successful coordination of my Complaint, exposing astonishing mismanagement of an Irish Stds submission of mine by two ECS editors, is summarized in the Sept 2023 Eighteenth-Century Intelligencer, pp 67-68. For the record, please make this correction at your earliest convenience.
