University of North Carolina at Charlotte Adds an Associate Ombuds

Jen Amano has been hired as the Associate Ombuds for UNCC, the large public university in southwestern North Carolina. Reporting to Scott Deyo, CO-OP, she will expand the office and provide services primarily to undergraduate students.

Amano comes to UNCC from Mercy University, where she has been the Associate Director of Community Standards and Student Conduct for the past five years. Her career in higher education has included residential life positions at UNC Charlotte, University of West Florida, Florida Atlantic University, and George Mason University.
