Registration Opens for 2026 Summer Virtual Small California Caucus

The California Caucus of College and University Ombuds has opened registration for its fourth annual summer meeting. The online event on the morning of June 25, 2026, usually previews the topic for the traditional fall caucus in Pacific Grove.

Here are more details from announcement:
Are you tired of talking about AI implementation? So are we. This year’s Summer Caucus theme, “Not Another AI Conversation”, shifts away from reactionary, implementation-focused AI discourse toward a zoomed-out, philosophical look at the question of human resilience in the AI age. Inspired by an April 2026 report from Elon University’s non-partisan, interdisciplinary research center Imagining the Digital Future, Summer Caucus will feature a panel conversation on the topic of human resilience followed by two rounds of breakout rooms. The first round of breakout rooms will follow the Caucus theme, while the second round will be topical based on suggestions provided by registrants. You can volunteer to host a breakout room and/or suggest a topic when completing registration for Summer Caucus.
Through shared conversation exploring significant questions of our time, we’ll foster inspiration and expand our capacity to support others navigating change and challenge in our organizations.
Registration is $25 and closes on June 19. (Humanitix.)
