Cornell University Selects Assistant Ombuds

Cornell has hired Maria Zambos as an Assistant Ombuds in its Office of the University Ombuds. She joins University Ombuds Bruce Lewenstein and Assistant Ombuds Ati Alipour in the office that serves students, faculty, and staff across the university. 

Zambos has worked at Cornell for the past three years as Assistant Director of Student Disability Services and a Disability Access Consultant. Prior to that, she worked at NYU for six years in several roles supporting students and employees, including Accessibility Specialist and Equal Opportunity Specialist, facilitating the resolution of disability access concerns, academic disputes, and workplace accommodation issues. She earned her Bachelor's and MSW at New York University. (LinkedIn.)
