Harvard University Appoints Ombuds

Harvard University has selected Ati Alipour, CO-OP, as an Ombuds in the Harvard Ombuds Office. She joins the office on July 21, 2026, succeeding Lisa Neale, who retired earlier this year. Alipour joins Melissa Brodrick and Adam Barak Kleinberger, along with three consulting Ombuds who support the office.

Alipour comes to Harvard after three years as an Assistant Ombuds at Cornell University. Earlier in her career, she worked with several United Nations organizations (including UNDP, UNICEF, UNOPS, and UN Women) and the Center for Dispute Resolution at the University of Maryland as Staff Attorney and Mediator. She earned LLM's from Pepperdine University and the Cardozo School of Law.
