Leading Canadian Ombuds, Suzanne Belson Retires

Last month, Suzanne Belson retired from her position as an Investigator with the Department of National Defense and Canadian Forces Ombudsman’s Office. Previously, Belson was the Ombudsperson at Concordia University in Montreal from 1978 to 1999. She was a founding member of both the Forum of Canadian Ombudsman the Association of Canadian College and University Ombudspersons. 

Belson was Chair of FCO's Education and Training Committee and also served as ACCUO's President. In 2000, she was the first recipient of ACCUO’s Distinguished Service Award. She has joined Internet Ombudsman, the consulting firm started by Frank Fowlie last year. (Team Profile.)
