The United Nations Ombudsman and Mediation Services is hiring a temporary Conflict Resolution Officer in Nairobi. The position will provide Ombuds and conflict resolution services to UN staff in the region. The position reports to the Regional Ombudsman, Youssoupha Niang. The search window is very short and the appointment will end at the end of 2020.
Applicants must have advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in a relevant area or equivalent experience. Experience in alternate dispute resolution, UN work experience, and field missions are desirable. For this post, English fluency is required and knowledge of French is desirable.
