Job Posting: Iowa City Community School District

The public school district with 2,200 employees and 14,000 students, is hiring a full-time Ombudsperson. The position reports to the ICCSD Superintendent and "is an advocate for fairness who acts as a source of information and referral, and aids in answering individual’s questions, and assists in the resolution of concerns and critical situations." 

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of work experience (including working with diverse student populations). An advanced degree and K-12 education experience preferred. The position pays $75,569 to $85,053 per year and applications are due May 28, 2021. (Iowa City CSD Jobs.)
