CCCUO Opens Registration for Summer Virtual Small Caucus

The California Caucus of College and University Ombuds has announced the details for its first virtual one-day meeting on June 16. Registration is now open and attendance is almost as limited as the in-person fall event.

Here's the full announcement that went out by email:

Summer Virtual Small Caucus

In the spirit of Cal Caucus we are excited to offer a summer opportunity to connect with others in the Ombuds profession to collectively process all that has occurred over the last 15 months and learn from each other as we find new ways to move forward. Join us virtually on June 16, 2021 from 10am-12pm PDT for a time of informal connection and discussion around the theme - Towards Restoration: What We’ve Lost, and What We’ve Found.

Participants will gather in small Zoom breakout rooms around topics, themes, or activities hosted by you and/or your ombuds colleagues. If you would like to host a room or have an idea for a topic, theme, or activity, you will have an opportunity to submit your name/idea in the registration process. All ideas are welcome!

Registration is $20 and is limited to the first 100 participants. If you are unable to pay, there are other options available on the registration site. Registration will be open until Friday June 4th, or until full.
