University of California Merced Names Associate Ombuds
Jim Rudd Levy has been selected as the Associate Ombuds for the UC campus in Central California. He joins UC Merced's Campus Ombuds, Hector Escalante, and provides services to students, staff, and faculty at a rapidly-growing university.
For the past year, Levy has been working as a Eviction Resolution Specialist and Staff Mediator with the Volunteers of America Western Washington. Prior to that, he had a two decade career as an attorney and independent consultant providing facilitation, mediation, and conflict coaching services. Levy graduated from UC Santa Cruz and earned an MA at the University of Washington and JD at Seattle University School of Law. (LinkedIn.)
