Job Posting: Idaho State University

The public research university in Pocatello has opened a search for its first University Ombudsperson. The new, full-time position will provide services to faculty and staff, but not students. Moreover, it is not clear whether the new Ombuds will replace the existing Ombuds Committee, which is comprised of six part-time faculty and staff Ombuds. The Ombuds will practice to IOA standards.

Applicants must have a Master’s degree and at least one year of demonstrated professional experience. Professional certification in conflict resolution or mediation and experience in higher education is preferred. The position will pay $70,000 to $75,000 and applications should be submitted by August 3, 2025. (ISU Posting.)
