Farmingdale State College Rolls Out Ombuds Program

The State University of New York at Farmingdale is introducing its new Ombuds Team at information sessions this semester. Five Ombuds will provide services to 10,000 students and 1,700 employees at the campus in Nassau County. The founding group of Ombuds was introduced by Farmingdale's president last summer and include: 

  • Bryan Garcia, Director of the Office of First Year and Transfer Year Experience; 
  • Yetunde Odugbesan, Director of the Office of Community and Civic Engagement and Professor of Global Affairs and Politics; 
  • Fatoma Rad, Collection Development Librarian; 
  • Kelsey Russell, Director of Disability Services; 
  • Bill Steedle, Assistant Dean in the School of Business and Associate Professor Associate Professor of Visual Communications.
