The United Nations Office of the Ombudsman and Mediation Services is seeking a Regional Ombudsman based in Beirut. The senior-level position leads a regional branch providing confidential, informal conflict resolution services for UN personnel across multiple field locations.
Applicants must have an advanced university degree in a relevant field and at least ten years of progressively responsible experience, including five years at the international level in dispute resolution, human resources, law, or a related area. Experience with workplace conflict resolution and international organizations is preferred. Fluency in English is required; additional UN languages are an asset. The appointment is for an initial one-year term beginning January 2025. (UN Career.)
