The African Ombudsman Research Centre, in partnership with the African Ombudsman and Mediators Association, will host an international webinar, “Integrating Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) for Effective Case Resolution in Ombudsman Institutions,” on March 3, 2026. These are strategies that Ombuds of all types use routinely in their work.
The virtual, 90 minute session will examine how Ombudsman offices can integrate ADR processes with investigative functions to improve efficiency, procedural fairness, and public trust.
Scheduled for 10:00am SAST (GMT+2), the Zoom webinar will feature Paulman Chungu (Ranchhod | Chungu Advocates, Zambia), Adv. Dinkie P. Dube (Deputy Public Protector of South Africa), and Adv. Revital Rottenstein Anani (Head of the Mediation Unit, Israel Ombudsman Office). The session will be facilitated by Chidy Lasbrey Martins, Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (Nigeria).
