The Editor is a volunteer leadership role responsible for guiding the editorial process, working with the journal’s editorial board, and supporting authors through the research and writing process. Candidates should be familiar with JIOA or academic journal practices and comfortable mentoring contributors in scholarly writing and research. The position plays a central role in advancing the intellectual development of the Ombuds profession through the publication of peer-reviewed articles and other contributions to the field.
