IOM is hiring a Conflict Resolution Officer to be based in Nairobi. Reporting to the Deputy Ombudsperson, the P-3 position provides case management, research, trend analysis, reporting, outreach, and training following IOA standards. The search will fill the role most recently held by Hans Kohler.
Applicants must have a Master's degree and five years of relevant professional experience, or a university degree and seven years of experience. Ombuds certification is desirable. Fluency in English is required, while working knowledge of another official UN language is an advantage. The appointment is internationally recruited, and the position is subject to IOM's mobility requirements.
