Job Posting: Idaho State University

ISU has reopened its search for a University Ombuds after not filling the position following last year's search. The full-time, in-person position, based in Pocatello and reporting to the President, will provide services to faculty and staff. It appears that the position will collaborate with the university's existing Faculty/Staff Ombuds. 

Applicants must have a relevant Master's degree and professional experience. Professional certification in conflict resolution or mediation, prior Ombuds experience, and experience in higher education are preferred. The position pays $70,000 to $75,000 per year and is not eligible for remote work. The position will remain open until filled, with priority consideration given to applications received by October 8, 2026. (ISU Posting.)
